Welcome to Arelette Russkiy Toys. We are a small group of dedicated breeder/exhibitors who have made it our mission to breed a better RT. By "better," we don't mean to change the basic integrity of the breed. We want to adhere to the standard set forth by the FCI which was based on the work of many Russian breeders before us. By carefully monitoring our breeding program, using qualified and often championed dogs, we hope to (gradually) have a healthier, sounder and better tempered Russkiy Toy.
Dogs are chosen carefully for their potential as puppies and further evaluated as they mature to judge their assets for exhibition and breeding. Our opinions are further enhanced in the show ring with many judges offering their subjective opinions and input. Having an idea of what constitutes a good representative of the breed, taking the time to socialize the pups well, performing the necessary health tests and evaluating the individual temperaments of the puppies will help us guide you to a puppy that is best suited for your individual lifestyle and desires.

We have been very busy at the dog shows! Judges, spectators and professional handlers are all excited to meet this sweet breed. Pooh owns the show ring and has taken home multiple Best in Show Champion titles! More information about our show wins will soon be available on our Show Scene page.

Anki and Scarlett attended the Mexico World Dog Show on May 25, 26 & 27 in Mexico City. Ceciliya, shown here with Anki and the Finnish judge, won "Best of Opposite Sex" three times and Pooh won four "Best of Breed" awards!

EXCITING NEWS!
aReLeTTe has a new partner! Scarlett King is joining us to share 30 years of her experience in breeding and showing dogs. Scarlett has a great enthusiasm for this lovely breed of Russian Toy Terriers. Her own Pooh is now a Grand Champion of ARBA! Scarlett will help us with the care of several dogs in a home environment, as well as breeding and showing our mature dogs and future puppies. Her goal is to breed out "the most beautiful RT in the World" and show them at different Rare Breed dog shows around the country. And yes, we do plan to go to the World Dog Show in Mexico City in May of 2007! Welcome Scarlett!
