Home of the Russkiy/Russian Toy dog, also known as Moscow Toy Terrier, Russian Longhaired Toy Terrier and Russkiy Toy
GRANS are GRAND
Well here we are talking about our beloved and lovely Russian/Russkiy Toy dogs.
While this is not for the faint of heart, it does work.
Basic Ingredients:
1. Raise your own, borrow, swap or kidnap several dog friendly children for a few hours each week.
2. Have some young Russian/Russkiy pups anywhere from 2 weeks on up for the exercise.
3. Allow a pretty free hand with the children and the pups, rubbing, rolling, hugging, kissing, carrying and dressing up. Great fun watching the "gran" children squeal and laugh when introducing food for the first time to the pups. (They have to do the cleaning of paws, heads and whiskers as part of this exercise).
4. Repeat as often as your time and patience allows, encouraging the play and changing of circumstances and locations both inside and out.
5. Watching the interaction will not only calm you, make you laugh but will also improve the socialization and responsibility of your grand children, while the dogs and pups attain a confidence level in all facets of family and show life.
6. While we struggle to build confidence in both these little creatures, there is nothing like the natural bond of dogs and children.
